Binance lets ETH and SOL holders earn staking rewards without running a validator. In 2026, ETH Staking and SOL Staking both use liquid staking tokens, a different model from generic 30-day or 90-day products.
Stake ETH and Binance gives you WBETH. Stake SOL and you receive BNSOL. These tokens represent the underlying staked crypto plus the staking rewards accumulating through their current conversion rates.
I've personally used Binance to manage crypto. My firsthand experience covers that account use; this guide explains how its staking products work, without a personal ETH or SOL staking result.

What Is Binance Staking?
Ethereum and Solana use Proof of Stake, where validators secure the network and receive rewards. Running a validator directly has balance and technical requirements.
Binance handles that infrastructure for its users. The practical flow is:
Hold ETH or SOL → subscribe through Binance Earn → receive WBETH or BNSOL → rewards accumulate through the token's conversion ratio
Users can earn without maintaining validator hardware or software. For deposits and withdrawals, read my full Binance review.
What Is Liquid Staking on Binance?
Liquid staking gives you a token representing a staked position. On Binance:
- ETH becomes WBETH.
- SOL becomes BNSOL.
WBETH and BNSOL remain transferable and tradable while the positions earn under current rules. They may also work in supported DeFi contexts, but their core value here is retaining a liquid token while putting ETH or SOL to work.
Binance ETH Staking
Binance pools users' ETH and operates validators. New ETH staking subscriptions receive WBETH, representing staked ETH and accumulated rewards.
WBETH is a liquid token whose represented ETH can increase through rewards. Binance shows the estimated APR and WBETH
ratio before subscription.Do You Need 32 ETH to Stake on Binance?
No. A solo validator requires 32 ETH, but Binance pools funds and handles the infrastructure. Binance Academy says ETH Staking accepts amounts below 32 ETH; the live field shows any operational minimum.
This opens staking to people who accumulated less than 32 ETH.
What Is WBETH?
WBETH means Wrapped Beacon ETH and is the token issued for new ETH stakes. It represents staked ETH plus incorporated rewards.
Rewards enter the WBETH conversion rate instead of appearing as separate daily ETH. One WBETH can therefore represent more ETH over time.
If the ratio rises before redemption, one WBETH can redeem for more ETH than it represented earlier. Binance displays the live ratio and estimated APR.
How to Stake ETH on Binance
- Log in and open Earn.
- Go to ETH Staking.
- Review the estimated APR and WBETH conversion ratio.
- Choose Subscribe and enter the ETH amount.
- Read the terms and Product Rules.
- Confirm to receive WBETH at the current ratio.
WBETH can remain in the account, be transferred, or be used in supported contexts while representing the reward-bearing position.
How to Redeem WBETH for ETH
In ETH Staking, choose Redeem, enter the WBETH amount, review the ratio, and confirm. Binance returns ETH at the applicable ratio.
Processing follows Binance and Ethereum withdrawal conditions. Use the completion estimate shown before confirmation.
Binance SOL Staking
Subscribe SOL through Binance Earn and receive BNSOL, representing staked SOL and rewards through the BNSOL
ratio.Binance handles the validator infrastructure, while BNSOL gives the position a transferable form.
What Is BNSOL?
BNSOL means Binance Staked SOL. Binance issues it at the current ratio when SOL is staked.
Rewards increase the BNSOL conversion rate, not necessarily the token count. Binance Academy says the ratio generally updates every two to three days.
BNSOL can therefore represent more SOL over time without daily tasks.
How to Stake SOL on Binance
- Open Earn, then SOL Staking.
- Review the estimated APR and BNSOL conversion ratio.
- Choose Subscribe.
- Enter the SOL amount.
- Review the terms and Product Rules.
- Confirm to receive BNSOL at the current ratio.
How to Redeem BNSOL for SOL
In SOL Staking, choose Redeem, enter the BNSOL amount, review the terms, and confirm. Binance returns SOL using the applicable ratio.
Binance Academy says redemption may take a few days. Check the live processing estimate.
WBETH vs BNSOL
| WBETH | BNSOL | |
|---|---|---|
| Represents | Staked ETH and rewards | Staked SOL and rewards |
| Underlying asset | ETH | SOL |
| Reward mechanism | WBETH ratio increases | BNSOL ratio increases |
| Transferable | Yes | Yes |
| Redeems to | ETH | SOL |
| Infrastructure handled by | Binance | Binance |
Both products use liquid tokens; the underlying asset and blockchain differ.
What Is the Current Binance Staking APR?
Binance uses estimated APR. ETH and SOL rates depend on network rewards and can change.
Review it before subscribing alongside the conversion ratio that determines what each token represents.
Can Binance Staking Earn Crypto While You Sleep?
Yes. Once ETH or SOL is staked, rewards accumulate through WBETH or BNSOL without daily claims, surveys, or PTC clicks.
Staking is passive crypto income after setup: rates vary, but accumulation is automatic under current rules.
How Staking Fits With Crypto Earned Online
Staking can be a second stage for crypto you have already accumulated:
Earn crypto online → deposit a compatible balance into Binance → hold or Convert only if desired → stake ETH or SOL you already want to keep → receive WBETH or BNSOL
Suppose you build ETH from several sources and already intend to keep it. ETH Staking replaces the Spot balance with WBETH representing staked ETH and rewards. SOL and BNSOL follow the same idea.
Only consider ETH or SOL staking if you already want to hold that underlying asset.
Binance Staking vs Simple Earn
Binance Simple Earn offers Flexible and Locked Products across many assets. ETH and SOL Staking instead issue blockchain-specific liquid tokens.
Spot keeps the original asset directly available; staking replaces it with a liquid token reflecting network rewards.
How I Would Approach Binance Staking
For an asset I already wanted to hold, I would compare the estimated APR, conversion ratio and redemption terms. WBETH or BNSOL can represent a reward-bearing position without requiring me to operate a validator.
That gives existing ETH or SOL holders a clear starting point for evaluating the product.
Is Binance Staking Worth Using in 2026?
Binance staking centers on two liquid products: ETH becomes WBETH and SOL becomes BNSOL, with rewards reflected through conversion ratios.
For existing ETH or SOL holders, it can earn rewards automatically while retaining a transferable token and avoiding validator operation.
